Directorate of Shariah and Legal Affairs
This is the department responsible for the operationalization of the Kadhi Courts in Uganda, coordinating Arbitration and Dispute resolutions amongst individuals and corporations, handling Inheritance and Divorce settlements as well as guiding on rulings on matters of religious contention.
Under this Directorate are Secretaries for Legal Affairs, Inheritance and Divorce.
